Deimos Rising Player Guide - Performance & Tech Support
Performance
For the best performance, run Deimos Rising in fullscreen mode. This is the default setting, and it can be set from the Preferences window.
(Note that you will have to relaunch Deimos Rising for the changes to take effect. You can also bring up the Preferences window as you launch Deimos Rising by holding down the Option key.)
If you are running in windowed mode in Mac OS X, you should ensure that your display is set to thousands of colors for the best results. If the game runs too slowly, try enabling the Interlaced Video mode in the Preferences window (or press the F6 key during a game). This will cause a slight reduction in drawing quality, but it should help speed the game up.
For the best results, pause or quit other processor intensive applications while playing Deimos Rising.
If using an external display device such as a television or second monitor, the device should be plugged in to your Macintosh before launching Deimos Rising.
