Many of you know what has happened to EV.com's previous webmaster, Jos Delbar. For those of you who don't, here is the back story.
When Jos came to our little edge of the galaxy, the website looked completely different. He came in and updated the whole look of the site, as well as got rid of the old WWW Board script for the EV Board. He replaced it with his own, original DiscBoard script (which, yes, is much better than the previous). All in all, his contributions to the well being of the site were great.
This all came to an end when he got caught pirating Mars Rising, another Ambrosia game. Andrew Welch fired him because of this (which, I believe, he was justified in doing). To make a long story short, we (the community) didn't have an administrator for our site for about 6 months (I think thats how long it was between updates).
I would like to congratulate Mark "Captain Scurvy" Longanbach with his recent 'promotion' to EV.com administrator. I hope that he will do a fine job, and bring back a little life to the already dying EV universe.
