Response

Yes! I made it to the Response section! Safe haven at last! Hurrah! *cough* sorry...

Hmm, what to write about this time, I wonder... Hmm, I almost wish that there was a guideline for this section, so it wasn't up in the air when I get to it. I would like to point out one word: almost. :)

I noticed something about how I operate while doing this: procrastination can sometimes be good. Granted, 10 points off the overall grade of this journal isn't good, but when the time hit 10 on Sunday (today to me, yesterday to you), the BS that usually comprises my journals began to flow. And flow it did, thankfully, or I'd my eyes would be all bloodshot by the time I showed up to your class today. Maybe if I applied that to my vocabulary tests, and actually started studying... well, anything can happen.

Well, seriously this time, what should I write about? I guess the book is as good a thing to write about as any, even though I've spent the past few hours writing about it. Oh well, this shouldn't take too long. After all, I'm the master of BS. MWUHAHAHA!!!! (see, not enough caffeine today to keep me coherent, just like I said in the Theme section)

All in all, I'm not sure if I liked the book. I liked Hemingway's writing style; descriptive, but not to the point that Invisible Man and Catcher in the Rye were (but I don't think I need to get on that rant again, do I?) The Cliffs Notes were especially bad this time around, which would explain any marks off on this journal I get (I promise I'll read the next one, as soon as I get done with my exam essays, which I'm gonna bust my butt doing this week).

Well, I think thats all I can say about the book without sounding really rediculus. Well, I'll just start rambling. If you want, just go ahead and give me the 90, and I'll go about my merry little way, not bothering any of the ghettofabulous people in our class. Speaking of ghetto, why is it spelled like that? Are they trying to mess with the minds of the people who live in the ghetto? Same deal with the word "phonetic". Why isn't it spelled the way it sounds? That just kinda strikes me as kinda wierd...

Also, I would like to apologize for something. In some of the sections (I think the Theme section), I started sounding somewhat "deep", like I was either getting the stuff out of a book, or I was "druggie deep", kinda like Jim Morrison of the Doors. I don't know why I was; I wasn't getting it out of a book (well, not the way I was putting it, which is my entire point exactly), and I definetly wasn't on drugs (c'mon, that stuff is expensive! You've seen the way I dress, I can't afford it!). I just thought that it was kinda funny, the way I got deep there, saying as thats when I was the most full of it. Oh well, I think I'm done rambling. Now to study for my vocab test. Heh, I just had to throw a joke in... ;)
