Movie Review: House on Haunted Hill

Reviewed by EVula

Well, I'm not sure if many of you will like this movie. It has tons of swearing, even more blood and guts, and plenty of frights. Basically, if you're a goody two-shoes, don't go see the movie. For all you real people out there, you should go see it. I liked it, even though I figured out that it wasn't the best date movie the hard way (thankfully, she likes scary movies). This was overall a pretty good movie.

The movie starts off in the House on Haunted Hill. You see (in graphic detail) the experiments done by the whacked out phsychiatrist who is the head of the loony bin. Well, his patients revolt, killing him, his nurses (brief nudity here, woohoo!), and killing each other, to boot. Only 5 of the patients survive the chaos.

Mainly because I can't remember character names, I'll give you a VERY brief synopsis of what happens. An eccentric roller coaster builder (who loves fear) is convinced by his wife to throw her birthday party there. He makes out the list, but 'something' replaces the names. When they all arrive, the house is sealed. Yada yada yada, ghosts kill people, psychological thriller stuff. Then the movie ends. See, that was pretty quick!
